Arrival Times at pickup locations

Cadets in Chatham meet at the Ansell Armouries at 5:30pm with departure at 6:00pm, please ensure you cadets have had supper before attending the camp.

Cadets in Blenheim please arrive at the highschool for 6:00pm with a departure time asap after arrival.,  please ensure your cadets have had supper before attending the camp.

Survival FTX – REQUIRED EQUIPMENT

Cadets are to bring the following:

HEALTH CARD – NO HEALTH CARD, NO GO!

Combat Clothing if available (Cadets will not wear CADPAT)

Rain coat

Underwear (3 pair)

Socks (4 pair)

Pants(no jeans) (3)

Boots with good ankle support (not parade boots)

Gloves

Toque

Pillow(optional)

Flashlight

Plastic Cup or Mug

Hygiene Kit Consisting of:

Alcohol-based baby wipes ( small package)

Any required medications (all medications will be reported upon arrival)

Cadets shall not bring the following:

Any material that is offensive or pornographic in nature

Electronic devices (MP3 players, IPODs, cell phones, etc.)

 

Cadets will use only one bag (i.e. hockey bag no garbage bags), and are reminded that

Marksmanship Tryouts

For those who signed up for the marksmanship tryout tonight, Sounds like roads are OK and weather should hold. We're going to go ahead.  1800hrs start time.

Reminder for Cadets who live in Chatham

The Bus will arrive at the Armories at 6:00pm please be prompt we will leave with or without you at 6:10pm.  The Bus will return at approximately 9:10pm.

Chatham Legion Poppies Saturday

Thank you to those who signed up for the Saturday afternoon shift at the Chatham Legion.  We have just been informed by them that they will not be running that shift.  If you are signed up and able, please go to the Blenheim Legion to assist them.

Remembrance Church Service 03 Nov

Your help is urgently needed on 03 Nov from 10:00am - 11:30 arm for the Blenheim Remembrance Church Service form up is at 10:00am at the Blenheim Legion.  current one cadet has signed up we need to make this a priority.  Please arrive at 9:45am

Poppy Drive

The Chatham and Blenheim Legions have asked for our assistance in staffing the 

Annual Poppy Drive.

The Legions have long been one of our sponsors and have ALWAYS stepped up to help us when we need it.

They need our help now and it is OUR turn to step up and assist them.

Sign ups for the Poppy Drive remain sadly low.

Range and Sports Day

Due to weather and attendance we have completed training early.  Cadets will be ready to be picked up at 1300hrs.

CO"S Parade Bus For Cadets in Blenheim

The bus will depart Blenheim District Highschool at 1800HRs it will not wait for cadets who arrive late.  Please ensure your on time this is costly and we do not want to waste money but want to ensure all cadets can parade together.  The will return to Blenheim District Highschool at 2110-2115 parents please be prompt to pick up your cadets as the staff that is supervising needs to still drive home after the cadets as gone.

294 Chatham - Kent Blog Begins

As a result of the amalgamation of 294 Kinsmen RCACS and 291 Blenhiem Bomber RCACS.

 The new unit 294 Chatham - Kent has been formed. 

Now parading out of two separate locations to offer the Air Cadet program to as many youth of our community as possible.

This blog will be the information hub of this Squadron.  This blog belongs to the staff, cadets and parents of the squadron. So if you see a problem, if there is information missing, links that aren't working correctly or if there is just something else you want to be able to find here.
