Location change for 25 Nov

Due to operational requirements of the CF

We will not have access to the Ansell Armoury 25 Nov 19.

As such ALL cadets will meet at the Blenheim LHQ (Blenheim District High School) for weekly training.

Please provide your own transportation, if you are able to assist and provide a carpool vehicle please contact Capt Russell through the Squadron email account

Arrival Times at pickup locations

Cadets in Chatham meet at the Ansell Armouries at 5:30pm with departure at 6:00pm, please ensure you cadets have had supper before attending the camp.

Cadets in Blenheim please arrive at the highschool for 6:00pm with a departure time asap after arrival.,  please ensure your cadets have had supper before attending the camp.

Survival FTX Kit List

Survival FTX – REQUIRED EQUIPMENT

Cadets are to bring the following:

HEALTH CARD – NO HEALTH CARD, NO GO!

Combat Clothing if available (Cadets will not wear CADPAT)

Rain coat

Underwear (3 pair)

Socks (4 pair)

Pants(no jeans) (3)

Undershirt (3)

Sweater (2)

Boots with good ankle support (not parade boots)

Gloves

Toque

Pillow(optional)

Flashlight

Plastic Cup or Mug

Water bottle filled

Hygiene Kit Consisting of:

Deodorant

Toothbrush

Toothpaste

Washcloth

Soap

Alcohol-based baby wipes ( small package)

Any required medications (all medications will be reported upon arrival)

Cadets shall not bring the following:

Drugs

Alcohol

Weapons

Any material that is offensive or pornographic in nature

Electronic devices (MP3 players, IPODs, cell phones, etc.)

 

Cadets will use only one bag (i.e. hockey bag no garbage bags), and are reminded that

294 Squadron is not responsible for lost or damaged items.

Marksmanship Tryouts

For those who signed up for the marksmanship tryout tonight, Sounds like roads are OK and weather should hold. We're going to go ahead.  1800hrs start time.

Cancellation

With current weather conditions and forecast we are cancelling training tonight. 11 Nov 2019.
